Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Good Joseph services, including the Android app, and goodjoseph.com. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use our services.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account or make purchases, or have permission from a parent or guardian.

You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Good Joseph provides financial education content, including free and paid guides, coaching topics, blog posts, and books. Content formats and availability may change over time.

Some content is free; paid guides and topics require a successful M-Pesa or other payment before access is granted.

On the Android app, account registration requires a phone number that has completed an eligible M-Pesa payment, followed by setting a password.

On the website, you may sign in with Google and subscribe via Stripe or M-Pesa depending on what we offer at checkout.

When you purchase or unlock content, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access that content for your own learning. You may not redistribute, resell, scrape, or publicly share paid content without our written permission.

We may update, add, or remove content. Purchases generally grant access to the content available at the time of purchase; we do not guarantee that all future updates are included unless stated otherwise.

Prices are shown in Kenyan Shillings (KES) unless otherwise stated. M-Pesa STK Push sends a payment prompt to the phone number you provide; you authorise the charge when you enter your M-Pesa PIN on your device.

We do not store your M-Pesa PIN. Payment confirmation may take a short time; do not submit duplicate payments if a prompt is pending.

Website card payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms. Subscription renewals and cancellations on the website are managed through Stripe where applicable.

Failed or reversed payments may result in loss of access to paid content until payment is successfully completed.

You agree not to misuse our services, including: attempting unauthorised access to accounts or systems; sharing login credentials; automated scraping or bulk downloading; harassing others; or using our content to provide regulated financial advice to third parties without proper licensing.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

All content, branding, and software on Good Joseph are owned by Good Joseph or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.

Good Joseph content is for general financial education only. It is not personalised investment, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for your own financial decisions. Consult qualified professionals before making significant financial choices.

Past performance or examples in our content do not guarantee future results.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Good Joseph is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific content or subscription giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred Kenyan Shillings (KES 100) if you paid nothing, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.

You may stop using our services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue a service.

Sections that by nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
